The EvolutionOz Nationals is the national annual celebration of Mitsubishi's mighty Lancer Evolution. The event attracts "Evo" owners from all states in Australia. They come to compete against some of the fastest evos in the country.

 

About the Event

 

Organised by EvolutionOz.net, Australia's largest evo website and forum, with official sponsorship by Mitsubishi's sporting arm Ralliart, the event brings an online community together for the weekend where they can meet face to face and talk evos with other owners and their forum colleagues on EvolutionOz.

The event begins on Friday night with drinks at the Breakfast Creek Hotel in Brisbane The event participants can talk-it-up before racing.

On Saturday, participants travel the 30km or so to Lakeside International Raceway. Evos will race in 6 classes, from Stone Stock to Unrestricted Modified. The titles will go to the fastest in class and fastest outright.

On Saturday night, the annual dinner is held at the Brisbane Riverview Hotel in the main function room with a (top secret!) guest speaker. On Sunday, participants travel to the famous Mt Cotton hillclimb for a day where class competition is hot again
